Aye,
So hook can go through boxes/doors. I don't mind the glitch where if the hook doesn't catch someone, if you walk through where it was it damages you, but it shouldn't be able to go through boxes.
Kind of like disruptors now, their ball stops once it hits something, so should the hook. Boxes or other environmental objects should stop the hook.
The reason I say is, it makes it extremely impossible to SOLO the Thing when he can pretty much just hook you for 20hp everytime, no matter where you are. And now that it's easier to use, anyone with decent aim can really abuse the function.
On the flip side, I understand why Vicboy added it originally, but it's always been a bit of a broken mechanic. I'd keep it the same in terms of Hitbox or whatever it uses so that it's easier to actually hit now, but take away the ability for it to go through objects, etc.
Pro Tip: If you're the thing and you have a solo marine hiding in boxes, either burrow and charge them or turn back into a marine and shoot them first. They'll either die or run out.
